This box is made from spalted maple and features a cherry top. The various woods used in this work include ambrosia maple, sugar maple, white oak, sugar pine, Claro walnut, tulipwood and poplar. The eclipse is the sun, in its stages of bright yellow and crimson hidden deep within the collage.
